You think the nuclear plant
near my house
did this.
You try to see me
like I’m one of your
favorite comic book characters.
It’s less scary that way.
You like to think
I have justice
between my legs.
That only bad men get bitten.
What if it wasn’t the nuclear plant’s fault?
What if nature knows what you are
and gave me a way to fight you.
The doctor, the virgin,
and the ‘nice guy’;
you have your smiles,
well-meaning arches that
hide the thoughts in your pants.
My lips know when you lie
and when you do
they bite.
